Tourism Advisor;

As an adviser he has been contracted for over 5 years as a specialist advisor for the Wales Tourist Board now Visit Wales and during this time has advised over 900 businesses across Wales.

Trade and Retail;

He is an experienced Marketing Manager and worked for companies such as the successful LBS Builders Merchants and during his time revitalised the brand and put together a calendar of trade and retail campaigns designed to drive the sales force, create awareness of added value sales items and encourage customer loyalty and brand recognition. He also organised a targeted number of customer events and hospitality days.

Brand Management and hospitality;

Tomos Watkin Limited employed his services as a Marketing and Brand Manager overseeing the ‘Great Ales of Wales’ portfolio and marketing their 10 house pub chain along with driving sales through their extensive ‘free trade’ customer base. He left to join the 65 pub outlet Celtic Inns Ltd in 2002.

Running his own businesses;

Dai set up his successful Nicholas Marketing consultancy in 2002 and is currently contracting his services to both Visit Wales and Venture Wales in its Pre and Post Start programmes in South and North Wales. He also deals with a number of SME’s across WALES.
